Policy and Advocacy efforts are implemented to solicit technical and financial support of JBCP's activities, and most importantly, provide an enabling environment for national breast cancer early detection interventions. As a national program, these efforts are implemented at all levels, and across multiple sectors, for a streamlined and unified country-based action against breast cancer.

In parallel with outreach and communication efforts into creating a cognizant community, aware of breast cancer and the importance of integrating early detection methods within its lifestyle; Advocacy attempts complement the holistic cycle of JBCP’s mission, which is enabling the community to demand and claim their rights to equal access to screening and early detection services in all governorates across the kingdom. This whole process begins with the micro level of the community from individual self-responsibility growing into corporates’ social responsibility, with the assistance of media and social media, collectively creating a full-fledged front to fight against breast cancer.

Individuals of the general public are encouraged, and supported, to lead self-initiated efforts in the fight against breast cancer. Females, males of all ages hold the responsibility of voicing the lifesaving mission of JBCP in their own capacity and through their own channels. This growth of early detection culture could also expand into a broader audience of societies, organizations and corporates, to adopt the fight against breast cancer as their own social responsibility cause. Our pool of advocates include community influencers, media, development agencies, societies and councils, women’s’ organizations, survivors and youth groups.

Recruiting community members as active advocates, with a vested interest in the cause, helps push forward early detection in the community’s priorities, as well as create pressure groups that – alongside with JBCP - demand policy makers, government officials, stakeholders, and opinion leaders to prioritize breast cancer in national health agendas, organize the local healthcare system, ensure equal implementation of quality care services by trained and competent service providers across the kingdom.

Fundraising is a scale-up to advocacy efforts where it grows into financial support to the cause. JBCP is always seeking and creating innovative fundraising tools that are dedicated to breast cancer early detection. Funds raised are channeled to the provision of lifesaving screening examinations to less privileged women in underserved areas across Jordan.

JBCP has a number of large-scale advocacy and fundraising Initiatives. One such initiative is held around Mother’s Day, is called "Celebrate your mom… save a mom". In this campaign, community members are not only encouraged to celebrate their own mothers by reminding them to seek lifesaving screening services, but also invited to share responsibility for other mothers in underserved areas across the country. Corporates actively participate in this initiative by implementing campaigns and special projects on their products/services in local and regional markets; to benefit breast cancer early detection efforts and reflect their genuine commitment to supporting JBCP's mission.

Initiatives executed throughout Celebrate your mom ….Save a mom in March and  Think Pink in October, are dedicated to both educating the general public on breast cancer early detection methods and raising funds to support less privileged women in Jordan, providing them with lifesaving screening examinations.
