Participation of the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program at the First International Radiology Conference entitled "Development in Radiographic Mammography in the 21st Century" organized by the Department of Applied Medical Sciences in cooperation with Jordan Breast Cancer Program.

The conference discussed a number of topics on the risk of breast cancer, the most common in Jordan, which is about 37% and it is popular among females. A series of lectures and workshops were given by a number of experts in the field of radiology and the development of strategies based on international cooperation and the intensification of all disciplines to reduce the number of deaths Cancer and improve the treatment methods and the importance of evolution in the speed of diagnosis and image quality and accuracy through which allows early detection of cancer in order to save lives and reduce suffering and mortality and reduce the high cost

The conference was attended by a number of specialists from the University of Sydney, the American University of Beirut, and from the government, ”private, military and international sectors,” and members of the teaching and administrative bodies and the university students.
