For the third consecutive year, The Jordan Breast Cancer Program concluded the implementation of "Agents of Change" training workshop in Al Tafilah governorate.
The training emphasized the importance of Educating community and empowering women, while stressing the importance of building women’s capacities in conducting awareness sessions and activities in order to change the social behavior of the target group in the fields of cancer, healthy lifestyle and cancer prevention.
The training also included discussions of topics related to leadership and gender. Agents of change training is one of the activities under the EU’s Support for Civil Society Organizations Project, in the Blended Learning and Behavior Change for Local Development, and It will be followed by a training in Balqa Governorate, in addition to a series of community activities to deliver these health and community messages to the target group in both governorates, the statement said.
