The Jordan Breast Cancer Program Organizes Mother’s Day Event
Every March JBCP organizes an event to celebrate the special occasion of Mother’s Day and International Women's Day. This year event included a panel discussion between a group of breast cancer survivors, breast cancer patients, opinion leaders and decision makers to highlight the importance of women and their vital active role they play in building their entire society. Moreover, the event involved an inspirational stories from a number of breast cancer survivors who shared their fight against cancer, from the moment of diagnosis and during treatment periods until the stage of recovery. They also shared the difficulties that they were able to face and triumph by demonstrating strength, determination and the mighty will. A number of Jordanian opinion makers, including deputies and notables have shown their presence at the ceremony to highlight the effective role of opinion leaders and decision-makers in supporting women's issues and the basic pillar that this role constitutes to confront the disease.
