  JBCP Management of Mammography Units

  
  
  
  

JBCP has assumed the responsibility of activating and setting up mammography units in the public, private and NGO sectors. This includes upgrading the setup of units by providing mammogram machines and other required equipment and developing welcoming and pleasant reception and waiting areas in addition to private changing rooms. By the end of 2010, 6 centers will be updated with new mammography machines and patient friendly atmospheres.

  Quality Control Tool Kits and Systems:

  
  
  
  

JBCP has been working with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) to provide Quality Control Tool Kits to private and public hospitals in Jordan. By providing these kits, JBCP is able to insure the continued quality of the mammogram images. Also was an opportunity to train technologists on how to perform Quality Control tests and ensure the quality of the breast images.
