The Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) is a nation-wide initiative for the development and provision of comprehensive services for the early detection and screening of breast cancer for all women in Jordan for the purpose of:
- Reducing morbidity and mortality from breast cancer by early detection and screening; and,
- Shifting the current state of diagnosis of breast cancer from its late stages (III- IV), to diagnosing breast cancer at its earlier stages (0-II) where the disease is most curable, survival rates are highest, and treatment costs are lowest.
